Huge loss: Purdue announces star C Isaac Haas will miss rest of NCAA Tournament
The Purdue Boilermakers may have won against No. 15 seed Cal State-Fullerton on Friday, but they also suffered a huge loss.
Star C Isaac Haas was taken down during the game and appeared to suffer an elbow injury.
Shortly after the game, coach Matt Painter confirmed that Haas broke his elbow and will miss the rest of the NCAA Tournament:

That, obviously, is devastating, both for Purdue’s title chances and for the senior on a personal level, as his career is now over.
Haas was averaging 14.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per game for the Boilermakers this season.
