This year’s class of wide receivers for the NFL Draft is a deep one, but Rondale Moore certainly cemented his status as one of the elite talents available.

During Tuesday’s pro day outing at Purdue, Moore put on a show and opened plenty of eyeballs. Among the highlights was a 4.29 number in the 40-yard dash, hitting the near-mythical mark of a sub-4.30 time. He also posted an incredible 42.5″ mark for his vertical leap.

Already believed to be one of the best all-around athletes in this year’s draft, Moore proved his speed and looked healthy in a strong workout. After the day was done, he joined Stacey Dales of the NFL Network to discuss his showing.

“I don’t really get nervous,” said Moore when asked if he was nervous before getting started. “Butterflies, maybe, but I think I’ve surrounded myself with the right people and put in the work to be confident out there.”

When asked what he thought about his performance, Moore said it was about as he anticipated entering Tuesday:

“It’s kind of what I expected, it’s what I’ve been training around,” said Moore, “So hats off and it doesn’t go unnoticed to everyone in my circle who’s helped be a part of the process, so hats off to those guys.”

Hopefully, Moore’s performance helps him land a good opportunity to begin his NFL career.
