Ivey played well all around. In addition to the 23 points, he had 7 assists and 6 rebounds in the victory. But he wasn’t the only one to contribute in a big way.
Trevion Williams came off the bench to give Purdue 19 points and 8 rebounds. Zach Edey was responsible for 13 points and 9 boards.
Purdue has now won 5 straight games and sits 9-3 in B1G play, just one game behind Illinois out of first place. Overall, the Boilers are 20-3 on the season.
Fittingly, Purdue will host Illinois at Mackey Arena on Tuesday with first place on the line.
