Jaden Ivey shares injury update after early exit from NBA Summer League game

Good news for fans of Jaden Ivey and the Detroit Pistons. The former Purdue standout says his injury is not significant.

Ivey left Detroit’s Saturday NBA Summer League game in the middle of the first period. Ivey injured his right ankle and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Ivey, the No. 5 overall 2022 NBA Draft pick, has been off to an impressive start in Summer League play. He had scored 11 points in the game’s first 5 minutes before exiting.

In 37 minutes of playing time, he’s already scored 31 points with 8 assists.
