Jeff Brohm could be heading to Louisville soon if the reports are true. It was reported by Sports Illustrated’s Pat Forde that Brohm and Louisville are close on reaching on a head coaching agreement.

Brohm played QB for the Cardinals from 1989-1993 and was an assistant from 2003-2008.

Brohm’s first season with Purdue was back in 2017. Since then, he has taken the Boilermakers to three bowl games.

This season, Purdue won its first B1G West title under Brohm’s guidance. Iowa lost to Nebraska on the final week of the regular season, allowing for Purdue to claim the title with a win over Indiana. Purdue lost to Michigan in the B1G title game 43-22.

Brohm had a 36-34 record at Purdue during his tenure. Brohm will be taking over for Scott Satterfield. Satterfield left Louisville to become the next head of Cincinnati football after Luke Fickell left for Wisconsin.
