Jeff Brohm has bleak news on Purdue CB Cory Trice
Boilermakers head coach Jeff Brohm had some bad news on cornerback Cory Trice when speaking to the media on Thursday.
Trice is going to be out for the rest of the season after he suffered a season-ending knee injury in practice earlier this week.

This is a big blow to Purdue as Trice is one of its best players on defense. He had only played in 2 games this season and recorded 4 tackles, however he was a rock the previous 2 seasons.
In 2020, Trice finished with 32 total tackles (28 solo) with 2 passes defended. He was even better in 2019 when he finished with 35 total tackles (29 solo) with 3 interceptions, 1 of them being returned for a touchdown.
The Boilermakers face quite the test this weekend as they will travel to Iowa City to take on No. 2 Iowa. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday and it’ll be televised by ABC.
