Purdue’s big win had a little bit of everything!
Not only was it one of the best performances you’ll see from the Boilermakers, Saturday’s big game also featured a touching tribute to cancer fighter Tyler Trent. It was a beautiful night for everyone involved. The ending nearly seemed scripted with Purdue pulling off the huge upset by a score of 49-20.
When addressing the game on Monday, head coach Jeff Brohm said it truly featured a little bit of everything:
“I don’t know what else you could ask for…It involved everything,” said Brohm. “There was a little piece and a reason for all of it.”
Brohm also touched on the opportunity to have Trent on hand for the game. He believes the win, the attention brought to Trent’s condition, and the love from football fans everywhere will help him continue to fight cancer:
“I think it helps him be stronger, helps him get through it more,” explained Brohm.
