Jeff Brohm was undoubtedly disappointed with the result of Saturday’s game. The Boilermakers were on a four-game win streak heading into the game and looking to keep their momentum going.

They weren’t able to though, as the Boilermakers dropped the game to Wisconsin 35-24. Brohm is now hoping to use the loss as motivation for his team.

“It’s disappointing. We’ll let it burn and fester in us,” Brohm said. “Burn us even more. And hopefully drive us to want to find a way to beat Iowa.”

Purdue will have plenty of time to get back on its feet however, as the Boilermakers have a bye week next week to let the loss sink in. They will then look to get back on track against Iowa in two weeks.

After entering the week as B1G West co-leaders, the Boilermakers will need a win over Illinois to have a shot at a trip to Indianapolis.
