Jeff Brohm and the Purdue Boilermakers have had to overcome many injuries this season. With that in mind — as the team is now down to its third-string quarterback — Purdue owns a 3-6 overall record.
It is coming off a win against Nebraska on Saturday, but will have to win its last three games if it wants to see the postseason.

This coming Saturday, Purdue gets to travel to take on a struggling 1-7 Northwestern team. The Wildcats have lost all six Big Ten games they have played in this season — marking a six-game losing streak.
Despite the struggles the Wildcats have had, Brohm knows that his team has a challenge ahead of it:
Brohm on NU: They are well-coached and don't beat themselves. Big, physical up front, especially on defense. Had some spurts on offense. This is a disciplined team. Will be a difficult game for us.

Northwestern is indeed big and physical. And as always, it is well-disciplined. Purdue, again, isn’t a juggernaut at full strength right now. It has its own issues to overcome.
Facing Northwestern will just be one of many upcoming challenges.
