No. 19 Purdue has now beaten two Top 5 teams this season in the B1G. First it was No. 2 Iowa 24-7 in Week 7. Now the Boilermakers have upset No. 3 Michigan State 40-29 in Week 10.
Next up is No. 4 Ohio State. The Buckeyes haven’t really had any trouble with the Boilermakers in this series with a 39-15 record all-time, but the last time these two met in 2018 it ended with another upset. Ohio State was the No. 2 team country back then, and lost 49-20 in West Lafayette.
We’ll see if Purdue can repeat that performance in Columbus this time around.
Jeff Brohm spoke with ESPN’s Matt Barrie on Thursday about what it takes to win this kind of game.

“I think our guys really play hard, and are up to the challenge,” said Brohm. “They understand that we’re going in as an underdog. We play about 11 Power 5 teams every year, so we’re kind of used to playing really good opponents. I just think young kids nowadays, when they get a chance to go against the top dogs they really get up for it.”
Can the Boilermakers shock the college football world again? We’ll see as they march into “The Shoe” with an upset in mind.
No. 4 Ohio State (8-1) and No. 19 Purdue (6-3) face off at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC Saturday.
