Marcus Mbow committed to Purdue on Wednesday afternoon, the Wisconsin offensive lineman adding some needed talent in the trenches for the Boilermakers.

A three-star recruit, he was the seventh best player in the state of Wisconsin and the No. 75 offensive tackle in the nation per 247Sports. He also held offers from Arizona State, Arizona, Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa and Nebraska among others prior to picking Purdue.

At 6-foot-6 and 305 lbs., he already has Big Ten lineman written all over his frame.

Offensive line was a point of focus for Purdue as they landed four players in the trenches this recruiting cycle. He is one of two players from Wisconsin hauled in by Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm.

Purdue has the No. 83 class in the nation according to 247Sports which, not surprisingly, is dead-last in the Big Ten this recruiting cycle. Wednesday was the first day of the Early Signing Period.
