Following a disappointing trip to Reno to open the 2019 season, Purdue is returning home for a Power Five clash against Vanderbilt. It’s the only B1G-SEC regular season matchup of the year.
On Thursday, Purdue revealed its uniform combination for Saturday’s home opener. The Boilermakers will have a traditional look, going with gold helmets, black jerseys and gold pants for the contest.

Purdue started the year 0-1 with a 34-31 loss to Nevada in Reno. Jeff Brohm dropped to 0-3 is season openers since taking over at Purdue in 2017.

On Saturday, Purdue will have a chance to score a big win for the B1G, as it hosts an SEC program. The Boilermakers are 1-2 in the last two seasons against SEC foes. They went 1-1 against Missouri (win in 2017, loss in 2018) but were defeated by Auburn in the Music City Bowl last season.
Brohm and the Boilers will be looking to even the score with the SEC at 2-2 on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. ET.
