Purdue has already improved its all-time mark against top-5 teams this season by beating No. 2 Iowa in Kinnick Stadium. Can the Boilermakers make it 2 big wins in one season?
Undefeated Michigan State checked in at No. 3 in the first edition of the CFP rankings. The Spartans are 8-0 and in first place in the B1G East after most recently edging in-state rival Michigan 37-33 on Oct. 30. Purdue is coming off a 28-23 victory vs. Nebraska and defeated then-No. 2 Iowa on Oct. 17.
Michigan State leads the all-time series 36-28-3 and is on an eight-game winning streak vs. Purdue. Michigan State-Purdue will kick off on Nov. 6 (3:30 p.m. EST) and will be televised on ABC.
