Music City Bowl's first half takes crazy turn, Purdue capitalizes on critical mistake to close half
It looked like Purdue was going to go down without a whimper, but that’s not the case now.
The Boilermakers had a crazy end to the 1st half as they scored 16 unanswered points to go up 23-21 into the break.
They hit 3 field goals to cut the Vols lead to 21-16 before getting a late touchdown off a turnover. Quarterback Hendon Hooker fumbled while attempting a pass and Purdue was able to recover.
