The Purdue Boilermakers will play host to the Syracuse Orange in a Week 3 matchup of ACC vs. B1G. The Boilermakers are looking for revenge after falling to the Orange last year in Syracuse by a score of 32-29.

Oddsmakers in Vegas seem to think we are headed for another close match. The game opened as a pick ’em with an over/under of 53.5, per Circa Sports. Considering the game is a pick ’em with Purdue at home, this means Syracuse would be the favorite on a neutral field.

The Boilermakers have played 2 exciting games thus far, barely losing to Fresno State in Week 1, and beating Virginia Tech by 1 score in Week 2.

The Orange have dominated in both of their games, beating Colgate 65-0 and then Western Michigan 48-7.

Through 2 weeks, the Boilermakers are 1-1 against the spread and the Orange have covered both weeks.

Purdue’s defense has had trouble, giving up 39 points to Fresno State and 17 to Virginia Tech. The unit could have trouble containing the high-powered Orange offense led by QB Garrett Shrader.

The Boilermakers will be looking to get an ACC win for the 2nd week in a row. The teams will kick off on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
