Pat Fitzgerald has high praise for Purdue WRs Rondale Moore, David Bell
Northwestern has the unenviable task of going up against Purdue’s high-flying wide receivers on Saturday.
In a matchup that will go a long way in deciding the Big Ten West crown, these two undefeated programs will meet. There’s a chance the play of Rondale Moore and David Bell at wide receiver could make the difference for the Boilermakers.
Wildcat head coach Pat Fitzgerald is well aware of these two pass catchers and gave them some pretty nice praise at his Monday press conference.
also calls David Bell the best WR in the country.

Fitz on Rondale Moore: "They don't give out the term All-American by accident. And we've been part of that."

So far this season, Bell has been No. 1 with Moore missing time with an injury. In two games this season, Bell has 22 receptions for 243 yards and four touchdowns. That comes after a freshman season where he had more than 1,000 yards receiving and seven touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Mooore has yet to see the field in 2020 as he’s been dealing with injuries. In 2019, Moore had a tremendous season with 29 catches for 387 yards and two touchdowns. As a freshman, he really showed out with 114 catches for 1,258 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Both of those receivers can give opponents problems. I think Fitzgerald realizes that.
