Payne Durham, Broc Thompson make huge plays for Purdue late in Music City Bowl
Purdue’s offense was firing on all cylinders in the fourth quarter.
It was a back-and-forth effort between Purdue and Tennessee, which resulted in tight end Payne Durham and wide receiver Broc Thompson making some huge plays late in the contest.
First, it was Durham who made a nice catch and used some fancy footwork to race to the end zone for a 62-yard touchdown. On the next possession, Aidan O’Connell connected with Broc Thompson on a 70-yard touchdown pass.
Below are the highlights:
OH MY GOD! I think Tennessee defense thought Payne Durham was out of bounds, they let him go, he stays in bounds and takes it 62 yards to the house!!!! INSANE!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥 pic.twitter.com/ctvjUeR3jb

The Music City Bowl has been one of the most electrifying postseason games this bowl season. While defenses played somewhat well in the first half, the game was an absolute shootout in the final two quarters.
It’s made for an incredibly fun game in Nashville.
