Payne Durham climbs Purdue's record books with brilliant one-hand TD vs. Wisconsin
Payne Durham moved up in the Purdue record books in Week 8 thanks to a fantastic one-handed grab.
The 8-yard TD was Durham’s 17th as a Boilermaker, tying with Jim Beirne for 2nd-most TDs as a tight end in Purdue history.
👏 That @pdurham22 touchdown catch (8-yarder from AOC) ties him for second all-time in scoring grabs by 𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐔𝐄 tight ends (17) alongside Jim Beirne (1965-67). #BoilerUp | #LetsPlayFootball pic.twitter.com/1ZxXiwkpjI

The score against Wisconsin was Durham’s 4th of the year. Durham has 310 receiving yards on the season, behind only WR Charlie Jones on the Boilermakers.
Unfortunately, Purdue is currently trailing at Wisconsin 35-10 in the 4th quarter. A loss would knock Purdue out of a tie for first place in the B1G West with Illinois idle this week.
The Boilermakers will have a bye week in Week 9 before playing host to the Iowa Hawkeyes in Week 10.
