A big day in West Lafayette got even bigger.

Saturday night, Purdue hosts No. 2 Ohio State in a prime time matchup that will be nationally televised. But before the game kicked off, the Boilermakers received some huge news pertaining to their 2019 recruiting class.

Three-star athlete and Michigan native Jalen Graham gave his verbal pledge to Purdue a few hours prior to kickoff.

Graham is ranked as a top 50 athlete in the 2019 recruiting class and is one of the 20 best players out of Michigan. He had 22 offers, including five from B1G programs.

In addition to Purdue, Graham had interest from Rutgers, Indiana, Minnesota and Maryland.

Jeff Brohm has been excellent on the recruiting trail this season. There are now 23 members in the 2019 class. The Boilermakers are ranked 24th national and fourth in the B1G.
