Purdue has added to its 2021 recruiting class after going over a month without a commitment.

On Sunday, the Boilermakers landed a pledge from 3-star tight end Drew Biber, a native of Cedarburg, Wisconsin. He becomes the 11th player in the 2021 class to commit to Purdue. Biber made his announcement with a post on social media.

Biber picked Purdue over offers from eight other NCAA programs, according to 247Sports.

“It is with great excitement and gratitude to officially announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Purdue University!” Biber wrote. “Boiler Up!”

Biber is ranked as the No. 10 player out of the state of Wisconsin, regardless of position. He’s also listed as one of the top 250 tight ends in the 2021 recruiting cycle.

In addition to Purdue, Biber also received offers from Northern Illinois, Boise State and Wyoming at the FBS level. South Dakota State and Northern Iowa showed interest at the FCS level.

Purdue’s 2021 class currently ranks 14th in the B1G and 85th nationally.
