Purdue adds transfer commitment from FCS pass rusher
Purdue is looking to keep its much-improved defense rolling into 2022. The Boilermakers even added one defensive prospect via the transfer portal on Tuesday.
That commitment came from Scotty Humpich. Humpich is a pass rusher out of Murray State with 2 years of eligibility left after a strong run with the Racers.

One of Humpich’s best games of the season came in a showdown vs. Cincinnati. Despite facing tougher competition, Humpich posted 3 tackles and a sack against the Bearcats.
Here is a brief look at his highlights from that game:
Purdue currently ranks 9th on the team transfer portal rankings produced by 247 Sports. It will be interesting to see how Humpich and the other portal additions look with the Boilermakers in 2022.
