A three-star prospect, No. 55 at his position and a top-20 player in the state, according to the 247Sports Composite, Grigsby was previously committed to Mel Tucker’s Michigan State Spartans.
Pledging to the East Lansing-based program on September 11, he decommitted on November 3, less than two months later.
Now standing at 13 members, the Composite ranks the Boilermakers’ upcoming class as the 74th-best in the nation and lowest among the 14 Big Ten Conference programs.
Grigsby is the second-highest rated commit in the haul, behind only Naperville (Illinois) Central four-star dual-threat quarterback Sam Jackson.
Purdue’s 2020 squad will round out their regular season against the No. 12 Indiana Hoosiers (6-1) in Bloomington on December 12.
