Purdue, co-defensive coordinator Nick Holt part ways
News broke Monday afternoon that Purdue and co-defensive coordinator Nick Holt are parting ways after the 2019 season.
Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers coach Nick Holt will not be retained at #Purdue.

The Boilermakers finished the year at 4-8 overall and had numerous injuries occur to key players on both sides of the ball. Regardless of those injuries, Holt and the Boilermakers allowed over 436 yards per game this season, which was good for 100th overall in college football.

Here’s Purdue coach Jeff Brohm regarding the news of Holt:
“I appreciate the years I’ve spent with Nick both here at Purdue and Western Kentucky,” Brohm said. “He is a very good football coach, and I wish him and his family the best moving forward.”
Holt has been with Purdue since 2017.
