A Purdue defensive end has re-entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report from Rivals.com.

Robert McWilliams has entered his name into the database for the second time during his collegiate career. The Boilermaker defensive line initially hit the portal before the start of the 2021 season and later withdrew.

McWilliams has spent 5 seasons at Purdue but hasn’t seen much playing time during his career.

According to his bio on PurdueSports.com, McWilliams has played in 14 career games and has been responsible for 4 tackles. He’s made 1 start during his time in West Lafayette.

His only appearance during the 2021 season was in Purdue’s season finale against Indiana, a game the Boilermakers won 44-7. Per his bio, he did not record any statistics in the contest.

McWilliams would have one year of eligibility remaining at his next destination.
