Defensive lineman Branson Deen got the safety for the Boilermakers and he was having a decent season coming into this game. He had only appeared in three games but he has recorded seven total tackles (four solo). This was his first safety of his collegiate career.
The play got Purdue right back into the game as the Boilermakers would wind up scoring a touchdown to take the lead right after. Shameen Jones got his second receiving touchdown of the game and the score is now 16-13, Purdue.
The game is currently being shown on FS1.
