Will the momentum carry over?

One week ago, Purdue left Iowa City with a 24-7 victory over the No. 2 ranked Hawkeyes. Quarterback Aidan O’Connell was outstanding, David Bell was unstoppable and the Boilermaker defense was stifling.

Now, Purdue is hoping it can channel that same energy from last Saturday to snap a long losing streak to Wisconsin. The Badgers have won 14 straight contests over the Boilermakers, with Purdue’s last victory coming in 2003.

Friday night, Purdue’s social media team dropped the most recent hype video for the upcoming showdown. It will certainly have fans ready for the upcoming matchup:

Both Purdue and Wisconsin head into Saturday’s game coming off wins last week. The Badgers defeated Army 20-14 in Madison to improve to 3-3 on the year.

Purdue is 4-2.

Kickoff between the Badgers and Boilers is set for 3 p.m. ET and the game will air on Big Ten Network.
