Purdue defensive tackle Lorenzo Neal made his decision on whether or not he will return as a Boilermaker for 2020. Purdue fans will be happy with this:

The 2020 season will be Neal’s fifth, as the big man up front missed the 2019 campaign after undergoing ACL surgery.

Neal played his first three years at Purdue. Back in 2018, he amassed 30 tackles and three tackles for loss to go along with two pass deflections and two forced fumbles in 10 games.

His return for 2020 will certainly help a Boilermakers team that struggled defensively and had numerous injuries hamper the squad’s abilities — on both sides of the ball — in 2019.
