The 2019 Early Signing Period takes place from Wednesday, Dec. 18 to Friday, Dec. 20. And by early Wednesday morning, plenty has happened.

Commits have signed, players who weren’t previously committed have done that and signed, teams have flipped recruits committed from other schools, there’s been plenty of action.

On Wednesday morning, Purdue successfully flipped a recruit who was verbally committed to Florida Atlantic:

Anthony Romphf is leaving the Owls — along with the team’s previous head coach Lane Kiffin, who has taken the job at Ole Miss — and is heading to Purdue. Romphf is rated by 247Sports Composite as a three-star prospect.

He is a 6-foot, 180-pound athlete from Southfield, Michigan.

He is now the 21st player to commit to Purdue’s 2020 class. That entire class can be found here. It ranks No. 27 nationally and No. 6 in the Big Ten after Romphf’s flip.
