Purdue dipped into the transfer portal Tuesday afternoon to secure a commitment from former Marshall wide receiver Corey Gammage.

Gammage entered the portal and committed to Memphis in late January, but never enrolled with the Tigers. He spent 4 playing years with the Thundering Herd and was Marshall’s top receiver in 2021 and 2022.

Across  Gammage’s career he has totaled 2,348 receiving yards with 13 touchdowns. The vast majority of those yards and touchdowns came in the past 2 seasons.

Purdue is getting a big-bodied receiver, as well. Gammage stands at 6-4, 220 pounds and certainly has the physical size for B1G football. Coming out of high school in 2019, Gammage was considered to be a 3-star prospect.

This news comes just a few days following Milton Wright’s entry into the transfer portal.

The Florida native will have 1 season of college eligibility remaining.
