Purdue gets explosive RB from Texas to commit for 2019 class
It’s always recruiting season.
Recruiting never stops. Coaches always have to keep recruiting, otherwise, the program will fall behind.
It takes just one player to make or break a program and if a coach isn’t on top of his game one day, that could be the difference. For Purdue, Wednesday night could have been a difference-making night.
King Doerue, a 3-star RB from Amarillo, Texas, announced his commitment to the Boilermakers:

Doerue is a 5-foot-11, 197-pound prospect who had 19 scholarship offers. Offers from Notre Dame, Minnesota, Nebraska and Texas A&M were just a few.
With Doerue’s commitment, Purdue’s 2019 class ranks as the No. 26 class nationally and No. 4 class in the B1G. Doerue is the Boilermakers’ second tailback to verbally commit and is the higher rated of the two.
