Purdue took a play right out of Michigan State’s wheelhouse for its 3rd touchdown of the game.

The Boilermakers ran close to a double flea-flicker as Aidan O’Connell found Jackson Anthrop who got the original handoff. Anthrop took the ball and then reversed field after breaking a couple of tackles on his way into the endzone.

It extended Purdue’s lead to 21-7 as it has come to play against MSU & then some.

O’Connell is already up to 200 yards passing and 3 touchdowns as he’s picking up where he left off against Nebraska last Saturday. For that contest, he finished with 233 yards with 2 touchdowns.

This was Anthrop’s 2nd touchdown reception of the season. He had his 1st one last Saturday against those same Cornhuskers and finished with 6 receptions for 43 yards along with it.

Kenneth Walker III ended up answering back for the Spartans right before halftime. The Boilermakers are currently up 21-14 (as of this writing) and you can watch that contest on ABC.
