Purdue’s 2023 recruiting class continues to take shape. The Boilermakers are now up to 11 commitments after landing pledges on back-to-back days.

The newest commitment comes from in-state wide receiver TJ McWilliams, who was on campus for a visit this weekend. The North Central standout from Indianapolis shared the news on his Twitter account.

While not a Purdue legacy, there’s some McWilliams family familiarity with Jeff Brohm’s program. Tom Dienhart points out that Terrence McWilliams, TJ’s father, played at Louisville with Brohm and Purdue Director of Player Development Mel Mills.

The younger McWilliams is listed at 6-1, 170 pounds and rated 3-stars, the No. 17 Indiana recruit and No. 192 wide receiver in the 2023 class by 247Sports. McWilliams has 17 scholarship offers. His junior-season highlights can be viewed below, via Hudl:
