The Purdue Boilermakers have gotten off to a bit of a slow start during the 2019 recruiting cycle, but on Tuesday, they picked up their fourth commitment.

That commitment came from 3-star RB Da’Joun Hewitt, who is a Nashville native and held offers from Rutgers, Temple and others.

As you can see below, Hewitt announced his decision on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon:

According to the 247Sports composite, Hewitt is the No. 92 running back in the class of 2019 and the No. 51 overall recruit from the state of Tennessee.

Coach Jeff Brohm’s 2019 class now has four members, ranking No. 12 in the Big Ten and No. 49 nationally, per 247Sports.
