Purdue is making waves on the recruiting trail with Ryan Walters’ staff landing a major prospect in the 2025 recruiting class!

On Sunday, the Boilermakers received an impact commitment from Tarrion Grant, a 4-star cornerback out of Siegel High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The 6-foot-3 and 175-pound Grant has elite size for the cornerback position and previously revealed a top 10 that included Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Tennessee and LSU, among others.

In the end, the Boilermakers win out for one of the best overall players in the country:

According to the 247 Sports Composite, Grant is the 7th CB in the country for the cycle. He is also rated as a top 50 player, coming in at No. 42 nationally for the 2025 recruiting class.

Grant becomes the fourth hard commit for Purdue in the 2025 recruiting class, giving the Boilermakers an early start on a potentially top-25 recruiting class for Walters. That group currently ranks 24th in the country per the 247 Sports Team Composite as we head into the middle portion of January.
