Purdue is working on the 2024 recruiting class after a 4-8 performance during Ryan Walters’ first season leading the program. On Sunday, the Boilermakers landed a key piece via a 3-star wide receiver.

The player is Donovan Hamilton, a 3-star WR out of Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Indiana. He’s listed at 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds and was also receiving interest from Kentucky prior to his commitment.

According to the 247 Sports Composite, Hamilton is a 3-star prospect and the 133rd WR in the country. He’s also rated as the No. 14 player from the state of Indiana for the cycle.

Hamilton becomes the 4th in-state commitment for Walters in the 2024 recruiting class. As things currently stand, Purdue holds the 29th recruiting class in the country per the 247 Sports Team Composite.
