Wingfield spent 2 seasons at New Mexico. He missed nearly all of the 2022 season due to a torn ACL, but he rebounded and started every game of this past campaign for the Lobos.
Although he spent just 2 seasons at New Mexico, this will be his final year of eligibility. Wingfield began his collegiate career in the JUCO ranks at El Camino Junior College.
Wingfield is listed at 6-foot-4, 289 pounds. He’s originally from Los Angeles, California.
Purdue has now made a pair of transfer portal additions on its offensive line already this cycle. The Boilermakers also earned a commitment from ex-Notre Dame offensive lineman Joey Tanona.
