Purdue LB opts for transfer portal after 3 seasons with Boilers
Khali Saunders is leaving the Purdue football program after being there since 2019.
Saunders had 12 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and 1 pass deflection for the Boilermakers. He was listed as 3-star recruit when he committed to Purdue back in 2018 per Rivals.com. He went to Immaculate Conception High School in Elmhurst, Illinois.
Purdue, Syracuse, and Iowa State were the only Power 5 schools to offer him a scholarship.
The Rivals’ NCAA Transfer Portal account posted about the news on Tuesday on Twitter.
