Walters’ coaching staff is filling out nicely since the departure of Jeff Brohm for Louisville. He’s the 9th coach to be named to the staff since Walters was hired just a little under a month ago in mid-December.
Mattox also oversaw the run game at UTSA and had stops at McNeese State, Texas, Tulsa, South Florida and Eastern Illinois, and some stops at the JUCO ranks.
