Despite dropping last weekend’s game against Rutgers, Purdue will open as a favorite for this Saturday’s B1G West clash with Nebraska.

Sunday, several B1G lines came out for Week 9 games, including this week’s night contest between the Huskers and Boilermakers. Both teams enter at 3-4 on the season, but it’s Purdue that will be a touchdown favorite, with the line opening at 6.5 points.

Nebraska does have the conference edge with a 2-2 mark in conference play while Purdue is just 1-3 against B1G opponents. The Huskers will head to West Lafayette after spending last week on the bye.

The two programs have met on the gridiron just five times, with Nebraska owning the all-time series 3-2. The Huskers took last year’s head-to-head bout 27-14 in Lincoln. In 2015, the Boilermakers won 55-45 at Ross-Ade Stadium.

Saturday’s game is schedule for a 7:30 kick and will air on Big Ten Network.
