Following the news of the day about the Ohio State game against Michigan being canceled, Purdue has announced they have canceled practice on Tuesday due to results of COVID-19 testing.

The Boilermakers are scheduled to take on Indiana this Saturday in the in-state rivalry matchup for the Old Oaken Bucket. The Hoosiers are currently No. 8 in the nation and head into the game with a 6-1 record, while Purdue is just 2-4 and on a four-game losing streak.

On paper, the Hoosiers will be favored in this one, but on rivalry-week, the records are typically thrown out the window.

Last year Indiana had the much better record heading into the battle and was expected to win easily, but the Hoosiers needed double overtime to outlast the Boilermakers 44-41.

No report on the status of Saturday’s game was given.
