Purdue provides positive update after scary injury to David Bell

David Bell was involved in a scary scene during the game against Notre Dame, but Purdue has provided a positive update to his status after the game.

During the fourth quarter, Bell took a hit and hit his head hard on the play. He remained down for a long time on the field before being carted off. He was fortunately seen awake and alert as he went back to the locker room.

After the conclusion of the game, Purdue announced that Bell was alert, awake, and walking around speaking with his teammates. He has been evaluated by medical personnel and will likely receive more evaluation during the evening and in the coming days.

While we wait to see the full extent of Bell’s injury, it is good to see that he is moving around and in good condition after the game:
