Purdue will soon be back on the hardwood as it looks to capitalize on a Sweet 16 season.

In 2021-22, Matt Painter’s team finished 29-8 with a 14-6 mark in the B1G. The Boilermakers fell to Iowa in the B1G Championship game before gaining an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament as a No. 3 seed, beating Yale and Texas before a stunning loss to St. Peters in the Sweet 16.

Plenty of big matchups are set for Mackey Arena in 2022-23, with the program always eager to remind fans of its loud environment and how it’s always a challenge for opposing teams. Over the last 2 seasons, Painter’s group has lost just twice at home.
