The athletic department at Purdue has released the latest COVID-19 test results.

According to Mike Carmin of the Journal & Courier, Purdue has conducted a total of 415 COVID-19 tests among student-athletes, coaches and staff since June 8, when players began returning to campus.

Purdue has received 27 positive tests, and 22 have completed quarantine and are no longer active. There are five cases among student-athletes, coaches and staff that remain active.

No breakdown by sport or among student-athletes, coaches and staff was provided.

According to Carmin’s report, Purdue is planning to provide a weekly update on its COVID-19 testing results every Friday.

Purdue began allowing student-athletes to return to campus one week after the NCAA lifted its moratorium on organized team activities on June 1.
