Purdue releases new master plan, looks to include renovations to Ross-Ade Stadium
What looks better to recruits — an older stadium that doesn’t have as many seats and looks outdated or one that is new and holds more people?
The answer is obvious. More money than ever seems to be brought in to universities thanks to college football and on Friday, Purdue released a new master plan for its school. You can see the campus itself, but you can also see Ross-Ade Stadium up near the top left.
As it appears on the graphic, the Boilermakers’ stadium may be under renovation sooner than later and additions to the south end-zone may be included:

If you’re a Purdue player or fan, you have to be pretty excited. Change is coming, and not a change that could end up taking a turn for the worse.
Ross-Ade Stadium should be — it is not finalized yet — getting upgraded. It’s just a matter of when.
