Purdue has announced the date of its annual spring game for 2020.

Earlier in the week, the John Purdue Club tweeted out a “save the date,” for Boilermaker football alumni for a special reunion the weekend of the annual spring game. In the post on Twitter, the spring game date was scheduled for Saturday, April 4.

No start time was listed for the game.

Jeff Brohm will be entering his fourth season in West Lafayette. Last year, the Boilermakers finished the year with a 4-8 record, with included a 3-6 mark in B1G play. It was the first time in three seasons Purdue did not reach a bowl game.

Injuries to key players such as defensive lineman Lorenzo Neal, linebacker Markus Bailey, wide receiver Rondale Moore and quarterback Elijah Sindelar derailed Purdue throughout the course of the season. Brohm and the Boilers are looking to bounce back in 2020.

In three seasons under Brohm, Purdue is 17-21 with two postseason appearances.
