Purdue teases astronaut-themed uniforms for showdown with Maryland
If this brief teaser video is any indication, Purdue’s uniforms are bound to be out of this world in Week 7!
Earlier this year, Purdue celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. One reason for that celebration is Neil Armstrong, who was the first man to walk on the moon, attended Purdue.
Now, it looks like Purdue football will be celebrating the moon landing with incredible astronaut-themed uniforms. Though the brief video did not reveal much, it did show an alternate helmet with a chrome gold facemask. The facemask definitely makes it look inspired by an astronaut helmet and the gold visors in them.
This is bound to be an epic jersey:
