Purdue teases new alternate helmet

Recruits may not solely choose to go to a school because of the uniforms the program has. However, when Chip Kelly was at Oregon, it certainly didn’t dissuade his recruiting efforts.

That said, teams are always looking to better its uniforms. Some more than others, of course.

At Purdue, it looks like the Boilermakers may be wearing a new alternate helmet sometime soon:

It’s hard to tell exactly what the helmet looks like, but you can barely see the letter, “P” on the helmet and it appears as though the helmet is all gold. Again, you can’t really see everything, but we’ll trust our computers to give us at least a slightly decent idea.

When will these helmets be worn? We don’t exactly know.

However, we do know that we should see more of this helmet within the next 24 hours.
