Purdue will have a new face under center tonight.
According to multiple reports, including Mike Carmin of the Journal & Courier, Elijah Sindelar will not playing for the Boilermakers this evening, meaning Jack Plummer will get his first career start. The announcement came shortly before kickoff against TCU.
Sindelar was leading the nation in passing yards with 932 and also has nine touchdown passes, tied for the best in the country through two weeks.

Sindelar has been suffering from a concussion he sustained last week against Vanderbilt. Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm has said that he has full confidence in Plummer, despite his inexperience.
Purdue is 1-1 this season and is coming off a 42-24 victory over Vanderbilt. Tonight will mark the final game of the non-conference season for the Boilermakers.
