Purdue unveiled its uniform combination for the weekend on Thursday, and the Boilermakers will be going with a classic set against Nebraska.

On the field, Jeff Brohm’s squad is looking for answers after three consecutive losses. In that stretch is the controversial ending against Minnesota, but that loss was sandwiched by disappointing but hard-fought losses.

The good news is Purdue has not been blown out, losing each game by a touchdown or less. But sooner or later, close losses just amount to a lot of frustration.

The Boilermakers will face Nebraska at home in Week 7 with a shot to get to .500 against the Huskers. A win would also keep open the possibility for a winning record in the regular season with one game still to go.

On Thursday, Purdue revealed that it will be going with one of the more classic uniform sets in the repertoire. It will be black jerseys for the Boilermakers, rounded out with a gold helmet and gold pants.
