Purdue's Jeff Brohm receives national honor following upset of Iowa
Purdue is coming off a huge upset win over previously ranked No. 2 Iowa on the road last Saturday, winning 24-7 in Kinnick Stadium.
The win vaulted the Boilermakers into the AP Top-25 right at No. 25 in the Week 8 edition of the poll.
Head coach Jeff Brohm received national honors for his teams’ performance against the Hawkeyes.
Brohm was named the DoddTrophy Coach of the Week.

Brohm and the Boilermakers have had the Hawkeyes number the past few years as they have beaten the Hawkeyes in 4 out of the last 5 meetings.
The Boilermakers are 4-2 on the season and 1-1 in B1G play. They have wins over Oregon State, UCONN, Illinois and No. 11 Iowa. Their 2 losses are against No. 13 Notre Dame and Minnesota.
The Boilermakers still have to play 2 AP Top-25 opponents this season. They are at home against No. 9 Michigan State and on the road at No. 5 Ohio State.
